HTC Diamond sparkles to a million

HTC expects to sell one million Touch Diamonds in its first three months on sale.
The Taiwanese vendor has enjoyed great success with its flagship touchscreen phone, which should hit the one-million sale mark by mid-August. Its predecessor, the HTC Touch, took five months to achieve this.
The success helped HTC post revenues of NT$78.76 billion on the year so far, up 32.4 per cent on last year.
Meanwhile the blogs are buzzing with rumours of another delay in the introduction of HTC Android handsets. Apparently, a research note from Global Equities Research saying suggests that the device will be delayed until the first quarter of 2009.
