Mobix and Rhythm team up on ad-funded video

Mobix Interactive and Rhythm NewMedia are to mutually back scratch on ad-funded mobile video.
The partnership will enable Rhythm to sell advertising into Mobix’s Adrenalin ecosystem offering a targeted ad-serving solution for its own inventory. Initial It means existing Adrenalin customers like Kontraband and Warner Music Entertainment’s Comedybox will be made available as ad-funded offerings.
Mobix’s Adrenalin system serves up mobile video available in all forms – from ad-funded to ad-supported to premium. Meanwhile Rhythm NewMedia’s algorithm targets ads to maximise clicks.
“Rhythm NewMedia has demonstrated that they can secure a high quantity of premium advertising inventory which, coupled with the capabilities within Adrenalin, will ensure media owners can get access to both premium and ad-funded business models. It demonstrates a further step in cementing advertising as a key part of Adrenalin’s growing ecosystem,” said Damian Mulcock, CEO of Mobix Interactive.
