Zeemote launches August 8th

Much talked about JS1 mobile games joystick will be bundled with Sony Ericsson W760i in Holland.
Zeemote has confirmed that Sony Ericsson will launch it Zeemote JS1 Controller as part of an exclusive promotion throughout hundreds of retail outlets across the
Netherlands.
The device will go on sale on August 8th (and remain exclusive to SE until October 31st) and will be offered free to people buying of W760i Walkman via a mail-in voucher promotion.
The W760i will come with two embedded 'Zeemote Ready' games with a further 14 additional games available through the Sony Ericsson Fun & Downloads portal. Gameloft has already confirmed that its Ferrari World Championship, Gangstar and Roland Garros 2008 games will support the gadget.
In terms of the JS1 itself, the controller sports a thumbstick and four assignable trigger buttons, and weighs in at 47g.
Jim Adams, VP of worldwide sales at Zeemote, said: "Mobile gaming will never be the same as the ZeemoteT JS1 launches through our first commercial relationship with Sony Ericsson. This agreement is the first of a number of deals we intend to announce over the coming months."
