UK managed service provider gets first dibs on Microsoft's mobile goodies.
FoneStarz Media Group has been selected to join the Microsoft Startup Accelerator Program.
Driven by Microsoft's Emerging Business Team (EBT), the program is designed to connect 'high-potential' startups to an extensive support network that provides access to Microsoft people and programs, guidance on future direction and support to accelerate their success.
FoneStarz’s Daius platform, which is underpinned by Microsoft technology, is used to power its mobile content management and delivery services to 28 mobile network operator channels in 23 countries.
FoneStarz works with more than 140 licensed content partners, including Disney for characters like Winnie The Pooh.
Dave Moreau, CEO of FoneStarz, said: “FoneStarz is proud that the development of its Daius platform as a market leading means of delivering multimedia content to multiple devices across the mobile internet has been recognised in this exciting new strategic relationship with Microsoft. The development of Daius and the company will be greatly enhanced by this new alliance.”
