Glu to release Tranformers: G1 this autumn

Follow-up to last year's Transformers movie tie-in takes gamers back to the beginnings of Optimus & Co.
Glu Mobile had confirmed it will release Transformers G1: Awakening globally in September, with the game drawing on content from the original cartoon series.
G1 will be the second title from the licensing agreement between Glu and HPG, Hasbro’s licensing division, following the official tie-in mobile game for last summer's Transformers movie.
Last week Glu released Warner Bros movie tie-in The Dark Knight.
“Transformers has a vast consumer base worldwide, and we saw great enthusiasm and reception with the launch of our Transformers game last year,” said Jill Braff, SVP of global publishing at Glu.
