Three new models introduced as beleaguered manufacturer begins its fight back.
Sony Ericsson has taken the wraps off its W902, W595 and W302 Walkman handsets and seven accessories to celebrate the third anniversary of its 77 million unit-selling music phone range.
No doubt the Swedish company will hope the new devices will reapply some shine to its brand following Friday's downbeat financials and lay-offs.
However, the news may not address the feeling among analysts that SE has over-relied on its Walkman phones.
Taking each new model in turn, the W902 has a five megapixel camera and an 8GB Memory Stick Micro.
The W595 can store 1,900 songs and has built-in stereo speakers, while the entry-level W302 comes with a two megapixel camera, FM radio, TrackID and a 512MB Memory Stick Micro.
New accessories include three sets of speakers, the MBS-200, MBS-400 and MPS-100, and three pairs of stereo headphones - the HBH-IS800, HPM-88 and HPM-66.
