Apple set to announce Q3s later today, with analysts predicting bumper results.
Apple is expected to announce strong Q3 (ending June) revenues during its earnings presentation later today, according to American Technology analyst Shawn Wu.
"Based on out supply chain checks, we expect Apple to beat its guidance ($7.2 billion in revenue)... we are modelling $7.3 billion," Wu wrote in his investors note.
Specifically, Wu expects Apple to have sold 2.5 million Macs, 10.5 million iPods and 705,000 iPhones during the quarter.
Going on past Apple results, Mac computers and iPod sales should account for approximately 75 per cent of the company's Q3 sales.
Apple has already confirmed that it sold a million iPhone 3G's in the first three days of availability (July 11th-13th).
