Mobile video specialist uclick has added a stack of MTV content to its portfolio.
It will offer mobile wallpapers, short animations, themes and videos based on brands including Nickelodeon, Spike and VH1 to operators and other distribution channels. All will be optimised for mobile.
This launch adds to the growing catalogue that also features Garfield, Paul Frank, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Virgin Comics. All are currently featured on uclick-managed desktop and mobile web storefronts.
"At uclick we're focused on well known brands that translate into the most wanted personalization options for handsets," said uclick CEO Douglas Edwards. "MTV Networks is an integral part of popular culture and reflects trends in music, fashion, lifestyle and politics. Their brands are a perfect fit for mobile and our global customers will welcome this creative content."

“Mobile Tagging”
Posted by: scott kline - Jul 19, 1:34pm
It is very clear that consumers are driven by promotions in the physical world to use the mobile device as a RESPONSE MECHANISM TO INTERACT WITH BRANDS!
At Adheadz.com, we continue to see Mobile Response rates higher than 15% when Brands run radio, TV and traditional advertising with their Mobile Tag like 'Text Adheadz to 51684 for More Information".
The increase of Mobile Tagging, where marketers add their brands’ Keyword and Short Code (like 'Text Adheadz to 51684 for More Information") onto their brochures, collateral and marketing outreach, is similar to the use of URL tagging which happened at the onset of the Internet.
All the best - Scott
