FunMobility agrees mobile licensing deal with Sanrio

FunMobility has signed a deal with Sanrio to mobilise IP including Hello Kitty.
The firm will mobilise Sanrio’s teen-oriented brands using its wallpaper applications – FunGirl, Wallpaper Universe and FunScreenz. Sanrio’s other properties include My Melody, Badtz-Maru, Chococat, Deery-Lou, Tuxedo Sam, Little Twin Stars, Cinnamoroll and Pochacco.
Adam Lavine, CEO of FunMobility, said: “We believe strongly in the power of truly unique and personalised content, we are excited bringing characters like ‘Hello Kitty’ to our users.”
