Idle screen marketing firm Celltick is to offer ‘free’ mobile games from Greystripe.
The partnership will add a significant new distribution channel for Greystripe’s advertising-funded games, placing them on Celltick’s LiveScreen Media platform. LiveScreen appears as a rolling ticker across the bottom of a subscriber’s handsets and contains information and commercial messages.
Greystripe’s proprietary AdWRAP technology embeds ads into games from partner publishers such as Sega, Digital Chocolate, Vivendi Games Mobile and Hands-On Mobile.
Michael Chang, CEO of Greystripe, said: “Working with Celltick creates a range of new marketing opportunities for our brands, which will be able to engage with a new user base in an accessible and non-intrusive fashion. Its targeted approach will increase not only the effectiveness of the adverts but also the value to the customers themselves.”
