MySpace and PayPal have put their mobile apps on the Apple App Store.
The free MySpace app lets iPhone users update profiles and upload photos direct from the device. All features of the app are tailored for speedy navigation on the handset. They include:
· Customized iPhone User Interface
· Real-time Updates
· Messaging interface.
· Real time friend, status and mood updates.
· Feedback mechanism
· 12 languages by the end of July 2008.
"The iPhone is a natural fit for a MySpace application. There is hipness to this device that resonates with our core audience," said John Faith, general manager and vice president of mobile for MySpace.
MySpace's mobile website receives more than 1.7n daily unique visits in the US alone.
Meanwhile PayPal has also been recruited to the Apple App Store gang. It s free mobile app will enable iPhone and iPod Touch users to send money to friends and family via their PayPal accounts.
