Nokia N810 running Android

Sneaky developers have managed to load Google's mobile OS onto an N810 internet tablet.
The process is supposed to be a lot simpler than previously thought and was done to give the developer in question an actual device on which to test its apps in the absence of a commercial Android handset.
Android won't take over the entire N810, however, and instead runs just like any normal app that has been sideloaded to the device (it comes in at 110MB).
Info gleaned from blogs appears to indicate that the Android web browser and touchscreen inputs work perfectly well.
Although apparently subject to delays, Google is hoping to have at least one Android powered handset available through partner T-Mobile USA before year-end.

“N810 isn't Symbian-based”

The Nokia N810 isn't Symbian-based, Nokia delivers it with a Linux-based operating system. (The N810 and N800 are not phones, and quite different from their Symbian-based mobile phones.)

You're right, of course. How foolish of us. Well, me.
