Convisual buys animation library from Kizoo

ConVisual has bought animation rights for SpongeBob, Garfield, Batman and others from Kizoo

The deal gives the German aggregator over 800 original 3D animations from internationally recognised licensers such as New Line Cinema, Paws, Warner, and United Media. Other IP includes Looney Tunes, Lord of the Rings, and Peanuts. ConVisual plans to offer the IP to partners for mobile marketing purposes.

Oliver Schmukalla, head of content services of ConVisual, said: “Our current and potential customers world-wide are brand license owners, branded companies, advertising agencies, instant messaging providers, network operators and application service providers. The quality and popularity of the Kizoo animations will attract new customer groups and enable us to co-operate with companies operating internationally."
