The porn biz targets iPhone

An explosion is mobile porn appears to iPhone’s dirty little secret.

An article in Time magazine claims that porn vendors are rubbing their hands at the iPhone’s large screen size, full Web access and friendly UI. "It's by far the porn-friendliest phone," said Devan Cypher, of adult publisher Sin City Entertainment.

Meanwhile Farley Cahen, vice president of business development for AVN Media Network, the adult industry's trade body, said: "There are a few hundred iPhone porn sites now in use,"

Apple insists it will not permit adult content on its official applications store, but the vendor cannot prevent customers from accessing porn through the device's browser. Perhaps because of this, the iPhone 2.0 software will give customers the opportunity to turn on parental controls.
