Google’s Android OS system has been delayed will late Q4, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The story says Android has been held up because handset companies and operators are having trouble integrating it. It adds that Google is taking so long over its launch with T-Mobile US that Sprint won’t be able to launch its first Android device till 2009.
It implies that Sprint has now prioritised work on WiMax-capable devices.
The WSJ is a subscription site, but there's a version of the story at Moconews.
