THQ is working on a mobile version of its ‘mixed martial arts’ game UFC 2009 Undisputed.
It’s the company’s video game based on the rapidly growing UFC brand. The mobile title is being developed alongside Xbox 360 and PlayStation3 versions.
“As the leading fighting videogame publisher, we feel the rising popularity of the UFC brand and its incredible mixed martial arts experience make UFC 2009 Undisputed the perfect addition to our expanding portfolio,” said Bob Aniello, SVP of worldwide marketing at THQ.
In UFC 2009 Undisputed players explore a roster of more than 80 top fighters in UFC across five weight classes. A brand new fighting game engine gives command of fighters, as players take down opponents with a variety of mixed martial arts disciplines like Muay Thai, Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
