Sony Ericsson launched its third World View camera phone competition today.

The firm is confident of another big success having received more than 70,000 entries for last year’s contest. World View 2008 is being coordinated through the www.sonyericsson.com/worldview website. It offers the People's Choice of a trip worth £5,000/€6,250 for the person who receives the most votes from the public. The Experts' Choice winner, chosen by elite photography judges, will receive trip worth £10,000/€12,500.
 
The portal gives people the opportunity to join a global community, expand their online social network, share images with people around the world, pick up hints and tips from top photography professionals and discover Sony Ericsson camera phones.

The panel of World View judges includes Sony Ericsson Senior Designer from the Creative Design Centre, Martin Wezowski; Reuters UK & Ireland Chief of Photography, David Viggers; and leading global photographer Tony Briggs, a former London Photographer of the Year.
