Singapore’s MobileOne has chosen InfoGin to power its mobile web surfing offer.
The operator has deployed Infogin’s Intelligent Mobile Platform to help its 1.5m users surf the real Internet from any mobile device. It will launch a new service, branded MobileSurf, using the platform.
Infogin’s Intelligent Mobile Platform means ‘real’ web pages are automatically formatted to fit the screen of a mobile phone.
P. Subramaniam, CEO of M1, said: “With the launch of Mobile Surf, M1 customers can now access the Internet from any WAP-enabled mobile device anywhere
and anytime. Striving to be the island’s most innovative mobile operator, Singaporeans can definitely look to M1 for more exciting new services that will complement their mobile lifestyles.”
