Digby offers m-commerce solution

Digby is offering the ‘Powered by Digby’ mobile commerce platform for high street retailers.
The US company, which is closely associated with the Blackberry, has created a rich smartphone app that offers mobile browser access. It eliminates the challenges of surfing web sites not designed for mobile devices, and uses a graphical interface to make browsing and quick.
Digby itself creates, produces and manages the branded mobile stores on-behalf of the retailer.
Existing customers include Godiva Chocolatier.
At present, the company has made Powered by Digby available for BlackBerry, Windows Mobile smartphones and mobile browsers. IPhone and Android versions are expected during the 2Q 2008.
