BREW 08: Adobe and Qualcomm get Flashy

BREW integrates Adobe Flash in drive for iPhone style user experience.
Qualcomm says its deal with Adobe to integrate Flash into the BREW content platform will enable developers to create iPhone-rivalling user experiences.
In simple terms, the deal means developers can take anything they've created using Flash and drop it into a BREW app.
The deal mimicks Sony Ericsson's recent announcement that it is working on an initiative to offer mobile apps that combine Java and Flash technology.
Andrew Gilbert, EVP and president of Qualcomm Internet Services, said: "Apple's iPhone has raised the bar for mobile user experience. Now let's see what the flash community can do."
