MEX Award winners revealed

The MEX user experience conference has announced the winners of its first awards event.
The announcement came at the end of day one of the sell-out two-day summit in London. The winners were:
Commercial category
Winner: Taptu
Runners up: Zeemote, Mobyko, Vuzix
Freelance category
Winner: Cloudaware
Runners up: Flat Music Player, BSR Blind Phone
Professional category
Winner: My Link Wireless Accessory
Runners up: Couple IT, MoDist
Student category
Winner: MyView
Runners up: Context aware, Pixie TV
MEX Mobile User Experience Innovator of the Year
Winner: BSR Blind Phone
Runners up: Taptu, MyView
The central challenge of the competition was: “Design an interface, idea or product to delight customers and enhance the mobile user experience.”
The judging panel included ME’s Stuart O’Brien.
