Cystelcom launching video calling ad service

Spain’s Cystelcom Sistemas has launched a 3G video calling ad platform.
Veedia 3G Mobile Marketing manages and distributes video and multimedia campaigns using automatic outbound video dialling. It can then collect customer data in real time and let consumers call through to sales agents.
Video calling has so far been an under-developed vehicle for mobile advertising, although companies like Froggie have worked with the concept. The Veedia platform can launch push campaigns at no cost to the consumer, or brands can design pull campaigns that entice the user to make a video call to the brand portal. It also integrates with interactive Flash based applications, which means what can be done with Flash on the Web can now be extended to a 3G mobile video campaign.
“Veedia 3G Mobile Marketing is a powerful tool that enables brands and operators unlimited segmentation and the ability to collect customer response information during the actual video call ad while users interact with the application,” said Manuel Cuenca Vélez, CEO of Cystelcom.
The Veedia 3G Mobile Marketing platform is a standalone solution or can be integrated with any multimedia mobile advertising platform (SMS, MMS, WAP Push, etc).
