Call Genie and vlingo are working on a search offer based on voice and directory services.
Call Genie and vlingo are working together to deliver a search solution based on voice and directory services.
Their ‘multi-modal mobile search platform’ marries speech recognition service with Call Genie's mobile directory assistance. The platform will allow users to input command in their natural language to access information rather than using a structured grammar like codes, number pins etc.
Call Genie is a provider of local mobile search and advertising solutions to Yellow Pages publishers, directory assistance providers, and carriers. Vlingo is a provider of a voice-powered user interface.
Michael Durance, CEO of Call Genie, said: "The combination adds enhanced speech recognition capabilities to the CG Product Suite and gives our customers a local mobile search and advertising solution that now includes natural language request support."
