Bluetooth marketer Breeze Tech has raised funding through private equity firm Beringea.

It’s bagged another £800,000 to support the growth of marketing solutions that use media servers to deliver content to consumers. This can range from ringtones and movie trailers to city travel guides. Partners include CBS Outdoor, Titan Outdoor, EYE Corp, Redbus and JC Decaux, with clients including 3 Mobile, Sky, Universal, Nokia, Fiat and Nike.

Beringea's Karen McCormick will now join the Breeze Tech board, joining other figures including Shaun Gregory, the current CEO of Blyk UK, who was recently appointed as an advisor.
