Orange segments Apple pie in newly-extended iPhone deal
At least ten Orange markets will start offering Apple's iPhone 'later this year'.
Orange is the latest operator to ink a deal with Apple to offer iPhone, having offered the device exclusively in France thus far.
The countries covered as part of the extended deal are Austria, Belgium, the Dominican Republic, Egypt, Jordan, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Switzerland and various African markets.
Like Vodafone and TIM's recent iPhone deals, the new Orange agreement increases the number of countries in which the device will be available from more than one operator.
For example, Orange and Voda will both offer iPhone in Portugal, while Orange will now join Swisscom and T-Mobile Austria in offering the device.

No other details were given in the press release, but it's likely the Orange deal relates to the upcoming 3G iPhone, which is expected to be unveiled on June 9th.
