AdMob says it served more than 20m mobile ad impressions to iPhone users in April.
Mobile ad network AdMob is serving more than 20 million ad impressions per month to the iPhone and more than ten million ad impressions to the iPod touch, according to its April metrics.
Moreover, wi-fi access accounts for 54 per cent of iPhone ad impressions, which AdMob says indicates users prefer surfing outside the cellular network despite the bundled data operators are offering.
Away from iPhone, AdMob's total network ad impressions increased 1.6 per cent in April to 2,595,092,049. Requests decreased 0.4 per cent to 2,854,226,146.
The RAZR V3 and Nokia N70 retained the top device spots in the US and India.
The top devices also remained the same in the UK (SonyEricsson K800i), South Africa (Motorola v360), and Indonesia (Nokia 6600).
