EA's mobile revs up 14 per cent

EA’s mobile revenues for 4Q 2008 grew 14 per cent year on year.
The giant games publisher earned $41m from mobile in the quarter compared with $36 million in 1Q 2007 and $38 million in the previous quarter.
Overall, EA reported a net loss of $454 million on revenues for the fiscal year of $3.67 billion, up 19 percent from $3.09 billion for the prior year. It is projecting $4.9 billion to $5.15 billion in net revenue for FY 2009.
EA Mobile remains bullish about its short term prospects having recently confirmed five major new titles including The Sims 2 Castaway and The Sims Pool, plus Monopoly Here & Now, Yahtzee Adventures and Merv Griffin's Crosswords.
