Mobile games publisher secures licence for next installment of Universal's The Mummy film franchise.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor will appear in cinema's on August 1st, with the game hitting operator decks at the same time.

The deal represents the fourth collaboration between Gameloft and Universal Pictures, which included American Gangster and King Kong.

Jeremy Laws, SVP of Universal Mobile Entertainment, said: "We have a great history of collaboration with Gameloft, and they were a natural choice for us on this awesome title."
