Samsung launches DVB-H slider

Samsung Electronics has launched the world’s first slider DVB-H mobile TV phone.
The P960 supports both DVB-H and the new Open Mobile Alliance Mobile Broadcast Service Enabler Suite (OMA-BCAST). The latter is the new OMA initiated DVB-H standard known as the next generation DVB-H solution. It will first become available in Netherland and will be adopted in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
DVB-H is available in Italy through H3G, TIM and Voda. It will soon become available in France, Belgium, Poland and Russia.
The P960 offers 2.6” QVGA TFT screen, 262K colours, Electronic Service Guide (ESG), Time-Shifting feature and Bang & Olufsen ICEPower audio.
