The Mobile Entertainment Forum and Informa have lined up talks from some of the world's most fascinating companies for MEM 08, which takes place at the Hotel Palais Stephanie, in Cannes from May 8th to May 9th.
In all over 85 speakers will appear in a conference programme with a focus on communities and social networking, regional trends in emerging markets, improving the user experience, search & discovery, personalization and off portal vs on-portal.
MEM will also offer masterclasses on an array of content areas, analytics and advertising, plus a revamped marketplace that brings together attendees from the mobile and media worlds at various meeting points and networking areas.
The event will be kicked off with the MEF'S annual general meeting and board elections, which will take place on the evening of May 7th from 5.30pm. Run for one of five seats on the MEF Global board and join representatives from Dada, mBlox, Orange, Sony Pictures, Sun Microsystems and TAG Strategic. Go to www.m-e-f.org.
Lastly, MEM 08 provides the backdrop to the fifth annual Meffy awards, which have been expanded again this year. They will be presented at a gala dinner on the first night of the event.
