HTC expects revenues to hit $1.12 billion in 2Q 2008, that’s up 20 per cent year on year.

However, the Taiwanese vendor says the rise will represent just four per cent more rev than in Q1 2008 thanks to a delay in new product launches.

Speculation suggests one of these new devices will emerge next week at a press event in London. This will be the Diamond handset, a touchscreen Windows-based phone that the firm is calling "the most important product for HTC this year." HTC is also said to be launching the first Android handset, the Dream, before the end of the year.
