More than 40 developers owed money by fallen mobile games aggregator, say sources.
ME has learned from several well-placed sources that more than 40 mobile games developers are owed money by Telcogames, the UK-based aggreator and publisher that went into administration last week.
Some payments are believed to have been outstanding for 18 months and it's unlikely now that the full sums will be recovered.
No specific amounts have been mentioned and Telcogames has yet to make an official statement regarding the situation.
As Paidcontent.co.uk points out in this story, Telcogames made a loss of £872,845 in 2006, the last for which records are available.
As recently as March 2007, Telcogames was highest ranked among 13 mobile content companies listed in GP Bullhound’s 50 fastest growing digital media businesses in the UK.
