iPhone generates $378m for Apple

Figure includes 'payments from carriers', sales of hardware and accessories in 2Q08.
The figure is just one of several iPhone nuggets revealed by Apple's CFO Peter Oppenheimer during its 2Q08 earnings presentation.
Apple says it sold 1.7 million iPhones in 2Q08, down from the 2.3 million reported for the first quarter.
However, the company maintains it's still on track to sell 10 million iPhones by the end of this year.
It was also confirmed that 200,000 developers are now using the iPhone software development kit (SDK).
