The ad-funded MVNO says it has passed UK milestone six months ahead of schedule.
Blyk, which launched in September last year and is aimed at 16-24 year-olds, says the messaging-based ad campaigns run on its network are generating average response rates of 29 per cent.
It's current advertisers include Xbox, Adidas, STA Travel, Penguin, Brylcreem, Boots, COI and the RSPCA.
Shaun Gregory, Blyk's UK CEO, said: "In six months we have built up a deep knowledge of our member base which now exceeds many established youth media players and with over 7 million 16-24 year old phone owners in the UK there is huge potential for growth."
