Itsmy.com celebrates one millionth user

Mobile-only social network passes milestone as viral pass alongs increase in EU and US.
itsmy.com owner Gofresh says its users surf more than 300 million mobile internet pages per month, with five million videos, pictures and wallpapers created and uploaded to date. Members have built more than 4.5 million WAP sites within the community.
Eighty per cent of users are from US and Europe. The leading states in the US are California and Texas, and the leading cities Detroit and Cincinnati. The fastest growing countries in Europe are UK, Ireland, Italy and Spain.
Gofresh says there are two usage groups within the community: active content creators who are uploaders with full profiles (registered users) and downloader-surfers, who watch mobile TV, download videos and pictures and surf within the community (no registration necessary).
The total user number of both groups reached 2.5 million at beginning of 2Q08.
Antonio Vince Staybl, CEO of Gofresh, said: "We are very happy with the off-deck mobile internet usage in the US and with the fast traffic growth from carriers like Verizon, Sprint and AT&T."
