Indiagames bags Popcap rights

Indiagames will exclusively distribute titles from PopCap’s casual games catalogue in India.
They include flagship titles such as Bookworm and Chuzzle. The games will be available for download with leading operators across India.
Samir Bangara, COO of Indiagames, said, “Our partnership with PopCap Games is in tune with our policy of making available the best mobile gaming content to the Indian consumer. PopCap Games have been extremely popular on the online space and we believe that titles like Bookworm and Chuzzle which appeal to a wide audience will be equally popular with mobile gamers in India”.
The deal extends the relationship between the two companies. PopCap had earlier made its games catalogue available on Indiagames’ online gaming service.
