Bango analyses its analytics

Bango's Analytics results are showing good click-through results on mobile advertising.
The company's number crunchers have shown that mobile banner and text ads typically have a click through rate of two to eight per cent with a conversion rate of two to five per cent.
This data was collected by Bango customers who use its recently launched Bango Analytics system to measure their mobile marketing campaigns. Using Bango Analytics mobile site owners can determine the characteristics of those most receptive to their marketing message. This information is then used to focus marketing campaigns on the countries, networks and handsets which return the highest conversion rates.
Data shows that when the offer is closely aligned to the needs of a particular consumer profile, click-through and conversion rates increase, often doubling.
AdEye, a mobile marketing company that uses Bluetooth technology to target ads at consumers, ran billboard ads for Sony Ericsson and selected Bango Analytics so it could analyse the responses. Data from Bango Analytics showed that 47 per cent of responses came from the number three mobile operator in Denmark, Telia, while just 29 per cent came from the largest operator, TDC. 32.9 per cent of users that made a Bluetooth request went to the WAP campaign site.
