CTIA: Free MTV vids on mywaves

MTV Networks is to make its videos available on the mobile video hub mywaves.
The deal will provide ad-supported.content from VH1, Spike, GameTrailers, and other MTVN outlets for free on the service. Alice Kim, SVP of digital distribution at MTVN, said: "As we look to extend our reach and open up our vast video content libraries even further on handsets, it's crucial that we embrace the ad-supported model.”
Mywaves claims 4.5 million monthly unique visitors from over 175 countries accessing over 300,000 channels of video. Repertoire includes professional programming, user-generated content and personal videos.
