George Clooney is in discussions to star in a live action version of Crazy Frog.
Sources tell ME that the handsome movie star is impressed with a script that re-imagines the cheeky amphibian as a flawed superhero, tortured by the death of his father who was inflated to bursting point by small boys. Brad Pitt may sign on as Clooney’s tadpole nemesis.
Clooney is talking to April Films – a division of 20th century Fox – about the project. Both Fox and Jamba, the original creator of the Crazy Frog ringtone, are owned by News Corp.
Clooney has a close relationship with Fox, which produced his recent hit Michael Clayton.
Now Hollywood is wondering if Crazy Frog will extend Clooney’s run of critical and commercial hits, which include Syriana, Solaris and Ocean’s 11. The star is also rumoured to by looking at the best moped for the role.

These reports are rubbish. If anyone bothered to check their facts they would know that I will be busy shooting a 'reimagining' of Monkey, from the PG Tips ads at that time.
