CTIA: SurfKitchen strikes first US carrier deal

On-device portal specialist powers content offering for Cincinnati Bell Wireless.
The MyPhone portal will give CBW subscribers access to relevant content and premium SMS services.
SurfKitchen will also provide an advertising platform for CBW to promote its own products, such as consumer broadband service, ZoomTown.
Existing users will be able to access MyPhone from a link on the CBW WAP deck and install it via a free Over-the-Air download later this week.
MyPhone will also be pre-installed on new Java feature phones and introduced on new smartphones later this year.
Other operators also using the SurfKitchen on-device portal platform include Orange, Telefonica, Telstra, Maxis, Etisalat and Saudi Telecom.
