Orange trials ad-funded content

UK trial encompasses 800,000 customers and 500 tracks of full-length music across four genres.
The content is available to download for free or at a discounted rate, with the ScreenTonic-powered three-month trial placing banner ads from the likes of Ford and Paramount on the relevant pages of the Orange World portal.
Gavin Forth, head of entertainment at Orange UK, said: "We believe this ad-funded content model will drive adoption and usage of services, and deliver better value content to our customers."
