The deal is part of Jetix's ongoing move into the digital space, supporting its strategy to make content available across multiple platforms.

Localised Jetix channels are being streamed for Orange customers in Poland, Romania and Moldova. The deal will also include a specifically tailored loop of Jetix content available to Orange users in the UK and a bespoke package of VoD content for Optimus in Portugal.

In Poland, Orange will include both Jetix and Jetix Play channels as part of its offering for both older and younger kids, respectively.

Other territories are also in discussion and these may be included as part of the deal for roll-out in 2008.

Chiara Cipriani, director of digital for Jetix Europe, said: "This deal reflects Jetix Europe’s commitment to distribute its content over new digital platforms and to offer kids the opportunity to watch their favourite Jetix series wherever and whenever they wish to."
