Transpera puts Revision3 TV on mobile

Transpera will power a mobile Web service for Revision3, the ‘TV network for the internet generation’.
The deal means that Revision3 shows, including The Digg Reel, The GigaOM Show and XLR8R, will now be optimised for any mobile platform. The programming will be enhanced with community features that allow viewers to browse and share their favourite shows with the click of a button.
Transpera offers a video platform that enables content owners and operators to make money from mobile video. It also provides mobile advertisers with superior targeting based on contextual relevance and data rich models built on mobile usage and consumption.
“Our shows enjoy tremendous popularity, with more than 30 million downloads to date, so it made perfect sense to extend our reach even further by optimising the quality of the experience that mobile phone users have,” said Jim Louderback, CEO of Revision3.
