Smash hit role playing game makes the journey from South Korea.
Heroes Lore: Wind of Soltia - which racked up 100,000 downloads in its first month of availability in Korea - will debut on US operator decks this month courtesy of publisher Hands-On Mobile.
Wind of Soltia - which launched in Europe last week - takes place in world comprising over 100 maps. Gamers play as one of three characters, a Knight, Rogue, or Guardian.
Players are confronted by more than 80 types of monsters and bosses in their quest, all of whom must be defeated using a combination of available weapons and the magical items that can be collected.
And there's more to come - Heroes Lore 2 was the most successful mobile RPG of the year in Korea, generating 100,000 downloads in less than a week. Hands-On says the recent release of Heroes Lore 3 posted the biggest blockbuster mobile sales ever in Korea.
Michael Temkin, CTO and EVP of operations at Hands-On, said: "The North American mobile audience is ready for a true role-playing game so we're bringing a proven success to market. Mobile users will be amazed at the game's quality and depth, with more than 30 hours of gameplay."
