Social network Bebo is to let its users share content via mobile, thanks to a deal with Intercasting.
It will do so using the latter’s AnthemT platform, as well as via text and picture mobile messaging. AnthemT gives users a user interface that makes it easy to view photos; send and receive messages; post comments; search profiles and more.
Ziv Navoth, VP of biz dev and marketing, at Bebo, said: "Bebo users increasingly want to be able to connect on the go. This partnership will extend Bebo's mobile offering and benefit our members by giving them access to the site anytime, anywhere.
We are constantly looking for ways to enhance our users experience and increasing our mobile offering will create a greater platform for self-expression for Bebo users.
Bebo recently signed a deal with T-mobile in the UK and has an existing partnership with Orange. In Ireland, Bebo is currently partnered with O2.
Intercasting currently works with 3 UK, Virgin Mobile Boost Mobile and Sprint to provide web-based community and social networking sites.
