New app enables users to share mobile and web content through their address book.
The new 'socially connected' contacts list service will be rolled out during the second quarter as part of Yahoo Go 3.0.
In basic terms, oneConnect works by allowing users to link the various social networks they use to their address list, enabling them to keep tabs on what their mates are up to and then interacting with them from the phone using WAP, web, SMS, IM or email.
Yahoo says its APIs will enable any messaging service to plug into oneConnect, including products from its rivals like Google Talk, AOL Instant Messenger and MSN Messenger.
Marco Boerries, EVP of Connected Life at Yahoo, said: "We intend to reinvent mobile communications through Yahoo! oneConnect, a revolutionary new mobile communications service that will combine integrated mobile messaging with a socially-connected address book."

What a good idea of Yahoo! to find a solution for all the upcoming internet network programs.
You cannot keep track and now it is all combined.
Good luck!
