MWC: China Unicom chooses Pontis for marketing

China Unicom has adopted the Pontis Marketing Delivery Platform.
It’s using the system to plan and deliver marketing offers tailored to their customers' needs. The Pontis platform lets operators package and bundle different services and promote a variety of content and services to customers.
Guy Talmi, senior marketing director of Pontis, said: “The Chinese market has experienced massive growth over recent years and operators in this region now need to turn their attention to driving revenue from their existing customer base.
As with the European market, there is now significant growth in demand for data services driven by the popularity of multimedia mobile content, representing a huge opportunity for operators.”
