Synchronica updates backup system

Synchronica is making it easier to sign up for its back-up services direct from the phone.
It will launch Mobile Backup 1.2 at MWC next week, with feature enhancements to drive up consumer adoption and drive down support costs. Mobile Backup 1.2 lets consumers sign up directly from their phone through a WAP interface or SMS procedure. A built-in client provisioning module automatically configures the phone.
It’s targeting the launch at operators and service providers to prevent loss of ARPU and add value to services by offering insurance. Synchronica believes consumer demand for the product is being accelerated by the adoption of content services and mobile social networks.
