US D2C specialist SendMe Mobile has chosen Vantrix to power its content offering.
It will use the Vantrix Store Optimizer to streamline the publishing of video, ringtones, wallpapers and other mobile media on its various storefronts. The aim is to reduce time to market and ensure that all titles are compatible with the broadest range of devices.
The Vantrix platform improves content delivery systems by optimising and caching content products in advance, while dynamically optimising ‘long tail titles’ for less common devices in real time as consumers download the content.
Russell Klein, CEO of SendMe Mobile, said: “We have seen an explosion in demand for mobile media on all our properties, from traditional downloadables at SendMeMobile.com, to user generated streaming video and sound at our community site mbuzzy.com.
As mobile media take-up continues to accelerate, we will need to deliver more content to more people, in faster and more efficient ways. Vantrix is a crucial element of our long-term strategy of reaching every user with personalised and top-quality mobile entertainment options.”
