New software turns iPhone into a guitar

It’s now possible to play Stairway To Heaven on an iPhone.
PocketGuitar turns the phone display into a guitar fretboard, and lets owners strum and pluck the strings using the touch interface.
The ingenious little programme has been developed by coder Shinya Kasatani and is available only to users with unlocked iPhones. Apparently it appears in the ‘toy ’ folder within the Sources list in the Installer once downloaded.
No word yet from Fender on the new Stratocaster phone.
